The New Citroen Dispatch Comes to the UK in September 2016

Following Citroen’s release of the technical specifications of its advanced New Dispatch van range in April this year, at the time of Birmingham’s Commercial Vehicle Show, the French car giant will be releasing the range on sale in September 2016.

The price range will span between approximately £17,000 and £26,000, depending on which of the 47 different models you choose. What can we expect from the new range? The Dispatch will be available in three different trims, namely the X, Enterprise and Enterprise Plus.

All of the models will be available with Citroen’s patented BlueHDi diesel engine – one of the most efficient in its class. The manufacturer has also announced that the Adblue® tank included in the range can cover up to an impressive 12,600 miles before needing to be refilled.

Let’s take a closer look at what the specific trims have to offer:

The New Citroen Dispatch X

All the vans in the Dispatch range will come with the features of the X trim. It’s kitted out with a whole host of features that make it ideal for tradespeople, and indeed anyone that needs to transport large loads with ease and comfort, with the bonus of plenty of features.

For practicality, the X has a full steel bulkhead and twin sliding side doors, along with unglazed rear doors that make loading and unloading easy. Both the driver and the passenger side get airbags, and the cab features a dual passenger bench seat and electric windows.

You’ll also benefit from the speed limiter and cruise control on-board. For entertainment you get a DAB digital radio as well as Bluetooth and a 12-volt socket in the dashboard.

New Citroen Dispatch Enterprise

The Enterprise trim packs the additions of an alarm, parking sensors and Moduwork modularity feature, that allows adaptability for loading large or awkward goods. You’ll get a touchscreen DAB radio and audio pack, air conditioning and heated electric door mirrors.

New Citroen Dispatch Enterprise Plus

The Enterprise Plus is the most advanced tier, coming with excellent additions such as the upgraded payload, rear parking camera, automatic headlamps and wipers, and fog lights. Design-wise, this trim features body colour bumpers, 16” alloy wheels and metallic paint options.
