WHAT IS CITROËN MOTABILITY SCHEME?
Motability is a charity that helps disabled people of all ages. The Citroën Motability Scheme enables disabled people to exchange all or part of their government-funded mobility allowance in order to lease a brand new Citroën of their choice.
The Motability scheme allows you the choice of three pricing options:
- Cars that cost less than your allowance
- Cars that cost the same as your total allowance
- Cars with an Advance Payment - allowing you to add to your weekly allowance by paying a one-off upfront Advance Payment.

Eligibility for the Citroën Motability Scheme requires you to receive one of the below disability allowances:
- Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
- Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
- War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
- Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)
You will need to have at least 12 months remaining on your allowance when you apply.
