Peugeot has presented the market with the new i-Cockpit concept this year in exclusive product showcases. The i-Cockpit’s original incarnation has 2.2 million users already in the form of the three most popular Peugeot cars on the market. In 2012, Peugeot launched the i-Cockpit in the 208, the 2008 SUV and the 308 models.
Following the success of this 2012 i-Cockpit launch, Peugeot have revealed the all-new concept that promises a whole new driving and passenger experience, based around the stimulation of the senses. This intriguing new concept will deliver an array of new technological features, putting Peugeot’s in-car experience near the top of the list for innovative features.
Improved Driving
The new i-Cockpit boasts improved advanced ergonomics for increased comfort, as well as design features, making for ease of manoeuvrability.

What else can we expect from the new Peugeot concept? Some of the stand-out features include voice recognition, where commands can enable hands-free control of certain devices within. The revolutionary automatic text message management system, which includes the ability for the car to give you a hands-free means of reading, drafting and sending messages whilst in motion.
Another exciting new feature of the i-Cockpit will be the 3D navigation. The new models will receive real-time traffic information from Tom Tom Traffic. The i-Cockpit will come with an in-built compatibility for the support of connections with entertainment and information systems like Apple CarPlay™, Mirrorlink and Android Auto technologies.
