Yesterday, Tuesday 12th September, saw the official opening of the recently transformed Robins & Day Manchester dealership.
The state of the art dealership, located on Windsor Street (off Albion Way) in Salford, was opened by David Peel (Managing Director, Peugeot Motor Company UK) and Bek Hassan (Managing Director, Citroën & DS Automobiles UK) along with James Weston (CEO, Robins & Day) and Paul Keaveney (Regional Operations Manager, Robins & Day).
The 2.25-acre site, at the end of the M602, has undergone a major £3m redevelopment to add Citroen & DS brands to the existing Peugeot site. Robins & Day Manchester now consists of Peugeot, Citroën and DS New and Used Car Sales facilities. As well as the 3 fully corporate showrooms, there is a 17-bay workshop, supported by an off-site PDI centre and Parts Hub.
Paul Keaveney, Robins & Day Regional Operations Manager, and former General Manager of the site quotes “Peugeot have a long history in the city, with Tom Garners having opened on Deansgate right back in 1908 – giving this site great heritage.”
Chief Executive James Weston adds “This our biggest development yet and a real flagship within the group, and comes after we launched our new Liverpool site last week. And it doesn’t stop there, as we have 3 other sites currently in redevelopment, and 4 others due to start this year.”
