Peugeot has announced plans to reveal the most advanced SUV ever at 2016’s September Paris motor show. Boasting a unique driving experience and a whole host of brand new technology, the new Peugeot 3008 SUV is the most advanced model offered by Peugeot to date.
Top of the Range Technology
Featuring the latest generation of Peugeot i-Cockpit® with Amplify technology, the new 3008 SUV features sensory buttons to enhance the driving experience. All the senses can be aroused by pressing a dedicated key from the ambient lighting and colour screens to musical ambiance setting and multi-point massage embedded in the seats with 5 different settings to choose from and a fragrance diffuser to change the smells.
The additional driver sport pack also offers two extra modes focused entirely on driver experience. The boost mode and relax mode offer drivers their preferred ambiance to create an unforgettable driver experience.
Staying Connected is Priority
Staying connected is important and the Peugeot 3008 prioritises conne3ctivity with smartphone charging available and 3D navigation, showing buildings and museums for extra realism and important information like car parks, petrol stations and local weather. The touch screen also allows drivers to send text messages, take calls and choose music all perfectly safely whilst driving.
Super Spacious
Space hasn’t been sacrificed for new technology, offering plentiful passenger and luggage space, the new model is just 4450mm in length and 100kg lighter than previous generation models. New models offer more interior space with compact exterior dimensions and class leading technology and safety features being lighter, more agile and fuel efficient than the outgoing mode. Plus, the boot space is adjustable and has plenty of room for bikes and long objects with removable side panels which can be configured to accommodate a range of different sized objects.
Diversity and Versatility
A series of different petrol and diesel engines are available. There is a choice of four petrol models, including the 1.2L PureTech 130 Stop&Start (S&S) with CO2 emission of just 115g/km. There are also 5 diesel options five diesel engine options, with BlueHDi technology capable of reducing emissions to just 100g/km. Driver safety hasn’t been compromised, with state of the art technology including automatic highbeam lights, active safety break distance alert and a Visiopark 180 degree camera.
All of the full information, regrading specifications and pricing will be revealed in September with UK orders being taken from November, just in time for January 2017 deliveries.
